Yes, that’s right…as of this morning the App Store has seen over 1 million apps created since it’s launch.

According to data from Appsfire, nearly 500,000 of those were paid apps and another 158,000 or so were gaming apps.

Of course, some of the apps that make up that million are no longer available due to copyright issues or were removed by their creator for other reasons.

All we can say is…wow, 1 million. That’s A LOT of apps.
